UiTM-Master of Dental Science MDSc by Research

Description:

The Master of Dental Science programme is a research work leading to the submission of dissertation. Students are admitted throughout the year. Research topic proposed must be in consultation with principle supervisor. The intake for these programme is throughout the year.

 Requirements:

Bachelor Degree of Dentistry from UiTM or from any institution of higher learning recognized by the
UiTM's Senater

or

Bachelor degree in any related field (not dentisty) with working experience in related field
recognized by the UiTM's Senate and meets other University's requirements.

Note :

Each applicant will be reviewed by the Faculty's Postgraduate Committee and will submit the list
of successful applicants to the Institute of Graduate Studies (IPSis) for admission purpose.

Mode & duration:

The programme extends over a minimum period of three (3) semesters for full time study and four to
six (4-6) semesters for part time study.

Programme Structures:

Semester 1 : Research Methodology
Candidates are requested to attend research related courses offered by the faculty to all of its
postgraduate programmes in order to strengthen their research work.

Semester 2 : Seminar & Research
Writing and review technique

Semester 3 : Research, Dissertation Writing and submission
